Property Insurance: Are You Adequately Covered?
Natural disasters and weather-related damages are on the rise. Two questions: When was the last time you took a look at your property policy (e.g., homeowner policy)? Are you protected against common property damages in South Florida such as mold damage, smoke and fire damage, sewage backup, flood/water damage, or hurricane damage? Policies that exclude these disasters may leave home and business owners vulnerable. If you have not evaluated insurance coverage lately, it’s time to dust off your policy.
